SDA Specialist Disability Accommodation

We understand the unique needs of those requiring high physical support. With our state-of-the-art facilities and a team of qualified registered nurses and support workers, we provide 24-hour care tailored to offer maximum comfort, safety, and empowerment.

Access and maintain employment

This service provides assistance to access and maintain employment. Workplace assistance enables a participant to successfully obtain and/or retain employment in the open or supported labour market. This could also include volunteer work.

Community Nursing

Community nursing care services exist to meet participants clinical and personal needs so that you can lead an independent and healthy lifestyle. We can provide Community Nursing in your home by a qualified nurse, and you can access these services on a regular or occasional basis.

Assistance with household tasks

We support participants to develop skills to live as independently as possible. This may include general household cleaning, laundry and linen, meal preparation & yard maintenance.

Assistance with daily personal activities

We are here to supervise or help with daily personal activities including bathing, dressing and other personal needs to enable participants to live as independently as possible.

Assistance with daily tasks/shared living

We support participants to live as autonomously as possible within a shared living environment by helping them to develop life skills and general household tasks and responsibilities.

Assistance with life stage transition / life skills

Assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transition and supports. Including supports that focus on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate their supports, and to assist them to live at home and participate in their community.

Participation in the community

Assistance with Social and Community Participation is designed to help support you to meet your goals in relation to improving your ability to interact and participate in your community. It can support you to improve skills and independence to participate socially or with recreational activities.

Group and centre based activities

Centre Based Activities and Groups promote socialisation while offering both worker facilitated and self-directed capacity building activities. Participants are welcome to undertake activities independently within the space, participate in facilitated workshops or a combination of both.

Travel and transport

This service is available to help you get out and into the community. Your support worker can help you get to and from church, your local club, the shopping centre and your medical appointments. NDIS transport is also there for fun activities like visiting friends, going to the movies or out for lunch.
